Patience….

…. I want to beg you, as much as I can, to be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. and the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day to the answer. Resolve to be always beginning, to be a beginner.

just what goes up, should come down?
Aloha James and thanks for your comment on this post – not sure exactly as to the tenor of your question – can you elaborate a bit more, maybe what goes up – can go up more?? Yes there seems to me to be a reaching for balance, even though many times things really feel outta whack.. so in that thought yes it comes back down eventually. To me this post is saying that much of the time ( and as I get older I’m in this space a lot) that I am learning to live with those questions that totally baffle me and”trust’ that my answer comes exactly when I’m ready to hear it – no sooner no later, been my experience anyway.
