Listening; Healing

mettra sutra kindnessI had blocked my listening and visionary skills for so long. What is the point of listening to the stories that are locked in the bones? If who we are is Pure Consciousness, untouched by any thought, emotion, experience-why listen to a story?

Then it came to me. My listening skills and visionary perceptions returned. A true healer enters the space with no agenda. no judgments, no story. The healer becomes the observer watching the client who truly is the healer. They both wake up.   From the place of no mind, heart centered spaciousness and Love, the therapist holds the space for the healer, the client. They move in and when it is time-they place their hands in contact with the other’s body, knowing that they are not only touching the body, but touching that same unconditioned place within another’s being.

The bones and muscles may begin to tell you their story. In the space of silence pure awareness, the story can be heard in a different way and be truly met in this silent love. Then that which was locked up in the body can being to breathe. It doesn’t need to stay in the back, the unconscious, it has its place now. And, when something is met -truly met –it is almost as if it never existed at all.
