As I facilitate a space for those to practice
the art of Hatha yoga I have urged those attending to bring in, from whatever
lineage, thoughts, dreams, music, song, or verse that is especially close
to their heart. Near the end of class, sometimes before meditation or
during savasana, I will read an inspirational story or verse to get in
touch with that aspect of yoga that the physical asana has helped to open.
The following are some of those pieces that have come my way via another's
hand or my own.
